Even in the course of legal reabandonment, drill rigs often leak liquids into the adjacent soil, and petroleum byproduct and oil waste can easily leak over time due to seismic shift or over-compaction in the form of Leachate or even into the water table.

Any of these possibilities make development impossible and are critical to satisfy DTSC, County Fire, and AQMD regulations prior to construction, particularly for our Environmental Site Assessments Phase I and II.
